I have promised to get out the new Dave “mini-art” but it can get a little busy when you are the artist, the printer, and the mail guy all in one. But in a separate email you will find this month’s idea. I thought with gift-giving time nearly here I would do some “One Sweet World” gift tags. I hope they are useful. If you have any suggestions as to what I can make for you, please let me know. Just download them and import them into whatever program you use to edit your graphics. Print them out on a heavier cardstock and cut out. You can punch holes and add ribbon, string, raffia – whatever.
I am excited to finish up “Halloween” and “Steady As We Go”. I’ve got to say it is so exciting to conceive of a painting, then to figure it out, then to paint it and then to see it come into being. But best of all is to be able to share it! Without that, there is no art, no music, no reason…so thank you!
Also, coming in the very near future will be my “Acoustic Dave Prints” and my “Electric Dave Prints”. I think these will be fun for you to fool around with. You will be able to make a composite of the songs, words, and colors that you prefer. The “acoustics” will be a bit more traditional while the “electrics” will have more of an edge. Along with those, near-future paintings will, hopefully, include “Crush”, “Grace is Gone”(I do take requests seriously and have to do this!), “The Last Stop”, “Bartender” and “Joyride”. But who knows? Something else may sneak on in. "Pig" certainly is on the brain. Anyway, lots of fun for me! I hope you will keep looking and commenting.
