Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Hope 2006 is filled with all good things
for everyone. I am excited about the ideas I have for
upcoming projects. Unfortunately, my hands don’t move as
fast as my mind. First off the easel will be “Butterfly”.
It will be on by Monday. I have been surprised at what a
complex song this actually is – there are many
interpretations but this particular one addresses
transformation. Journeys. I love thinking about
possibilities. I love thinking beyond this space. I hope
you think the painting reflects that.

In the meantime, I have already added a few Valentine’s Day
prints. Here you have the opportunity to add your personal
message for the one you love. They also include the entire
song lyrics. What better poetry could there be? (Oh, yeah,
if like you wrote it!) Dave does tend to have a way with
words!

Two other paintings are coming soon. “Warehouse” is
started. My “World According to Dave” is fun! If anyone can
help me by reminding me of various places mentioned in the
music – I’ll appreciate the help! From “trodden trails” to
“the river of you and me” to “Grey Street”, I am trying to
include most everything. There’s a lot! It will be in the
style of an antique map. (I also have a great idea for
“Pantala Naga Pampa”).

My Dave Electric and Acoustic prints are still coming –
just taking me a bit longer than I thought. There will be a
couple new Limited Edition Prints this week that will
include prints from “Halloween”, “41”, “YNK”, “Dancing
Nancies” and “SAWG”. I do like these because they look
great framed and hung together. Later this month, I hope to
have a section with display ideas.

One final note, I take all requests to heart. I feel badly
that I can’t accommodate each and every one right away. I
do need to think about it and if you have patience with me,
I will do each one. (And, Michael, “Grace Is Gone” is
important but I just don’t have it yet!)

So, that’s it from my little messy corner.
