I haven’t sent out a newsletter for a while but with the summer shows coming up I thought I’d let you know what’s coming up at LJMS Art.
Everyone has been so great filling out my little “Free Postcards’ Questionnaire. Some great ideas. (If you haven’t filled it out yet, please check it out. I’ll send you some free “Electric Postcards”.) My goal is always to keep this interesting for you so if there are any ideas swimming around in your head, PLEASE pass them on. Many minds are so much better than one! With the holidays already in my mind, I have some ideas for additional gift type items. Tell me what you want! Someone suggested coasters and I like that. Additionally, there will be some sort of poster that you can add your own ticket stubs or photos and hopefully, larger posters of my paintings. Maybe not limited editions so I can lower the price for all of you who are not particularly interested in the “art” aspect. And, of course, a 2007 Calendar. I’d like to do tee shirts but I’m not sure how to go about it and right now, I just don’t have time to research it. (If anyone is involved in printing or something like that, I’d love to hear from you.)
As for paintings, I have so many in my head! I just have to move them over to the canvas. At the top of the list are “The Stone”, “Two Step”, “Crush”, “Blue Water Baboon Farm”, “Raven” and “Bartender”. In no particular order and another could slip right in when I am not looking!
In regard to the summer shows, a couple of people have so kindly offered to take cards of my work to shows for me. So nice! Thank you! If anyone would help me by just taking a pile of cards and putting them out where you tailgate or stick them in a bathroom –whatever- I’d be so thankful. Just drop me an email at LJMSArt@aol.com. Thanks - you guys are so great.
