Since I began painting Dave’s music at LJMS Art, I have been fortunate to hear many stories about the band and how they have impacted so many lives. I am in the midst of compiling a book that will document and honor the DMB experience. In addition to my art, the personal stories and photographs, I am looking to include the most interesting of the DMB tattoos. My goal is to record this moment in history and somehow honor this band’s brilliance and influence.

Just wanted to give you an update on the book. (Sure wish I’d think of a title! Any suggestions?)
I am so pleased with the progress. Your input has been just phenomenal. I truly believe that you are going to love it. It will be a tribute not only to the remarkable impact of this band but also a tribute to this amazing group of people…this family of fans. I am still in the process of deciding how to publish. This is confusing and yet impacts so much. I want to make a good decision.
I am still waiting for things from several people so if there is something you wanted included, you still have a little time. Just let me know so that I make sure to leave a place for it. I am hoping for a September release date but so much is not in my hands that I can’t promise. Thank you so much for all the help!

Additionally, I am working on some smaller, less expensive original pieces. There will be some pen & ink sketches of Dave. Maybe some very small canvasses.
