And it has been awhile since I got a newsletter out to you. Mainly because all I have done lately is to work on the book and take care of my orders. My brain should be fried but no- in fact I have NEVER had so many ideas. Unfortunately, it’s just me doing all the work. I think. I paint. I cut. I clean. I order paper. And on and on…No complaints, I just am having a hard time getting to my new things. But I have a couple of ways to help me gain a little time.
The first is to get this book finished. It is important to me that it be perfect. I just mailed a copy into Red Light today for approval of copyrighted images. I don’t expect an endorsement of any kind. The stories are too personal for the most part. The pictures are great. I truly think you will love it. I am very proud of this. It will be a record that you will look back on 50 years from now and say, “I was there!!” If anyone still has anything they would like included, get it to me quickly. Send to dmbstories@yahoo.com. If I missed anyone that would like to be included in the “Dreamgirl” chapter, now is the time!
The other chapters are:
Warehouse - community
Butterfly - transformation
Dancing Nancies - possibilities
Grace Is Gone - loss
Crush - passion
American Baby - peace /patriotism
Steady As We Go - love
Bartender - redemption
Dreamgirl - beautiful Dave girls of all types
I’ll Back You Up - i'll hold you, you hold me
Two Step – celebration
If you have any picture or story that you thinbk might fit in to one of these chapters, there is still a tiny bit of time.
Let’s see…what else? I will be painting a new “Dreamgirl” for the book as well as “Bartender”. These will be put up on the website first. I will also be doing “Sister” and “Watchtower” as soon as possible. I can’t believe someone all ready asked me for “#27”!
As always, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I am so happy that I didn’t lose the dreams inside my head. I thank the most wonderful Dave for that inspiration everyday!
Keep spreading that beautiful love and enjoy the Summer Tour!!
Cheers! Lynda ”Don’t lose the dreams inside your head.”
